Krishnan Raghunath is Vice-President of the India – Central Asia Foundation, New Delhi. He was Foreign Secretary, Government of India from 1997 to 1999. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1962. During his long diplomatic career, he served as India’s ambassador to Russia, Philippines, GDR and High Commissioner to Bangladesh as well as in different diplomatic capacities in Hong Kong, Beijing, New York, San Francisco, Lagos and Moscow. He is currently a member of the Governing Body of the ICAF.
