J N Roy, Indian Police Service (Retd.), has served for nearly 27 years in Ministry of Home Affairs in places like Nagaland and Kashmir. Retired as Commissioner of Civil Aviation Security, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India in 1994, since then he has been working on issues related to strategic security and terrorism. He has made a number of presentations on these subjects at national and international seminars and conferences.
